DESCRIPTION FOR CAMPS 1 and 2: Both Camps and Trends of the Future are for High Drive/High Intensity HANDLERS with a strong work ethic and desire to have fun. Dogs must be proficient on all obstacles; these are competition Camps and remedial obstacle training will not be part of the curriculum. The focus of the Camps will be handling, handling, and more handling with some dog training mixed in! Dogs must be performing full coursework.
DESCRIPTION OF TRENDS OF THE FUTURE: What is on the agility horizon??!!!! Sequences that will get you thinking “outside of the box”! Plan on stretching your mind, working outside your comfort zone, and having loads of fun!!

DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS/DRILLS ONE SEMINAR: This seminar will focus on contact and jump training only. This Seminar will go over the basics on how to start off your contact training right (whether running or 2o2o) and skills/drills on how to maintain this training. We will show you how to have fast, accurate, reliable contacts in training and in the ring and also how to maintain this throughout the dog’s career. We will also cover how to begin proper jump training and show skills/drills on how to maintain this. This Seminar is for young dogs doing full height contacts and jumps as well as older dogs that need help refining their contact or jump work.
DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS/DRILLS TWO SEMINAR: This seminar will follow up where Skills/Drills One left off. We will teach more advanced sequences involving contacts and jump work. Skills/Drills will include all jumping patterns and teach dogs independent and fast contacts no matter what criteria you have chosen. All dogs must be doing full height contacts/jumps and must have attended Skills/Drills One or have prior approval of instructors.
DETAILS ON CAMPS 1 and 2: Working spots are limited to 20 dog/handler teams for Camp 1 and 24 dog/handler teams for Camp 2. Working spots are $550 for Camp 1 and $525 for Camp 2. Auditing spots are available for $200 or $75 / day. Lunch is not included. All training will be held outdoors rain or shine.

Karen Holik
Karen is a seven-time AKC/USA World Team Member, a four-time National Champion at the United States Dog Agility World Championships, and a Silver Medalist at the prestigious FCI World Agility Championships. She has also been a Finalist at National Events here in the United States with each of her dogs (past and present) over the past 15 years.
Karen began participating in dog agility in 1992 when she started training her Chow/Sheltie mix, Simon. She loves training dogs of all motivation levels. Her success with many breeds demonstrates her effectiveness. She believes that all dogs can be taught to run to their full potential and agility should be a team sport and fun for the dog at all times. She believes the most important aspects of agility training are teaching the fundamentals and being consistent with your handling at all times.
Karen currently owns 4 dogs (two Shelties and two Border Collies). She teaches private/group lessons and classes in Brandon, Florida. She also travels the United States, as well as Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Mexico and Costa Rica, giving seminars.

Ann Braue
Ann made her agility debut in April 2002 after 10 years in the competition obedience ring. She rose quickly to compete at the National and World level. Ann has competed internationally six times; four for the AKC World Team at the FCI Agility World Championships and twice as the USA Crufts representative. Ann is the only handler who has represented the AKC/USA at Crufts with two different dogs.
In 2007, she along with her teammates Linda Mecklenburg and Carrie Jones won the silver medal at the FCI World Championships in Hamar, Norway. Ann has competed the finals of many national events. She is a five time USDAA National Champion winning the $10,000 Steeplechase three times, the Dog Agility Masters Team Tournament once and the Grand Prix of Dog Agility once.
Ann is highly sought after as a private instructor and seminar presenter. Her gift of teaching is combined with passion, creativity and motivation provides a fun and rewarding environment for both the dog and the handler. Ann’s training philosophy focuses on positive reinforcement and building a strong relationship with the dog while at all times maintaining consistency.
Ann currently owns four border collies and several cats. She resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with her husband Mark.
